Drone Lab Under Samagra Shiksha Mission

Under the Samagra Shiksha mission, government and public schools across multiple Indian states are setting up high-tech STEM, robotics, and drone labs to foster practical, experiential learning in alignment with National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 guidelines.

Objectives and Setup

• Experiential Learning: Move students from textbook theory to hands-on assembly, programming, and flying of multirotor drones.
• Skill Development: Train students in sensor-based systems, coding flight paths, and basic aerial robotics operations.
• Teacher Capacity Building: Conduct specialized training programs for state school teachers and faculty to independently manage these technical spaces.
